There was a time when God spoke through chosen messengers called "prophets". They were His mouthpieces through which His will was communicated and His expectations were laid out for His people. The last twelve books of the Old Testament are known as 'The Minor Prophets' as their messages are shorter but their books contain very weighty messages that have great spiritual lessons that definitely apply to New Testament believers today. Unfortunately, today many have forgotten or forsaken the truths revealed within these great books and have never taken the time to study them. In this series, Ps. John Lesnik will open up some of the wonderous treasures of truth that these smaller books. As New Testament believers, a key verse that resonates why we ought to continue studying truths contained in the Old Testament is found in Romans 15:4, "For everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope."
